Educator, linguist, and homeschooling parent, Kimberly Reyes has over 20 years of classroom teaching experience. The Digital Governess consultancy is a passion project fueled by an unwavering desire to foster a lifelong love of learning in all children. 

An alumna of the Teachers College at Columbia University, she also holds a bachelor’s degree in World History and a master’s degree in Political Science. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Kimberly also speaks fluent Italian, French and Portuguese, as well as business level Japanese. She has lived and worked on five continents, teaching everything from preschool through postgraduate courses. An experienced graphic and curriculum designer, she has overseen the development of dozens of courses and educational programs. 

In her free time she is a voracious reader and lover of the written word. Passionate about the relationship between nourishment and the development of young minds, she is an avid cook who makes most everything her family eats from scratch. As a parent and homeschooler, she believes deeply in nurturing the inherent curiosity of children and recognizing the incredibly special gifts that each child has to offer. She looks forward to guiding students and their families as they embark on their learning journey.
